I’m a creative that speaks of vulnerabilities as a black man. I allow my writing to be my bridge to my peers to always allow them to know there’s a bright side to all situations.
What are you doing in your craft that impacts your community?
My craft allows men to know that we can have feelings and be expressive of them. I want to emphasis the fact that black mental health matters and with that I’m working with different organizations to put on events to bring awareness to these issues.
What advice would you give to someone looking to follow your path in the industry?
Write what you feel. Don’t worry about what people want from you, be yourself and don’t let someone put their limits on you.
