Dr. Ragan Brown is a native of Broussard, Louisiana. and currently resides in Dallas, TX. As an educator of over 13 years, Dr. Brown has experienced several run ins with stress, anxiety, and burnout. One thing that is certain, is that she is passionate and serious about self care. Therefore creating a platform that promotes self care as a priority, was inevitable. Currently she is a Learning Specialist and Reading Interventionist for students specifically diagnosed with dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, and anxiety. She is committed to helping educators and other professionals, and students transform their lives through self care. She is an author, self-care influencer, travel specialist, and owner of Cultivation Connection, an academic and personal development coaching service. Dr. Brown has presented at various conferences both within the US and internationally and often shares how she transformed her life from burnout to thriving by taking an intentional role in self-care. She is a Bestselling Author of 3 anthologies for educators The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothing but then Truth so Help me Teachers, The Mediocre Teacher Project, and The Evolution of an Educator. In addition, she wrote The Teacher’s Lounge-Self Care Journal. Her authorship has allowed her the opportunity to speak on panels, at workshops, state, regional, and national conferences, summits, and retreats.
